Valentines Madness

Hope you had a great Valentines Day! I've never been a big Valentines day person...until I had kids. Valentines Day around here means lots of parties and candy. Lily had a party at story time and then school. She loved looking at her cards but was very put out by any Hannah Montana or Camp Rock card she received. She loves Tinkerbelle, Princess, or Winnie the Pooh cards (I think quite age appropriate).

Noah had his party at school and was excited to get 2 football game cards and one basketball game card. He was disgusted by any pink or purple card and wouldn't even open any that had ponies or Hannah Montana on them.

Oh, boys and girls!!!

Beautiful Day

I like to record when we have an unseasonably warm day during winter. This year February 10th was our beautiful day. Lily and I decided to have a picnic at the park. Papa ran over from work and joined us for some fun. Then we went to a 2nd park and enjoyed the beautiful weather all day long...

Lily was so cute on Wednesday when she went to school and exclaimed, "My Mom and I went to TWO PARKS yesterday!"

Our Entertainment

One evening I looked around the house and saw Nathan on his laptop and Noah on "his" laptop. They looked nearly identical all focused on their "work."



Then I looked at the kitchen table and saw this:



Lily is truly our little entertainer. She is never dull. She is sometimes annoying. But she is always entertaining.

Yesterday in the car on the way to storytime Lily said, "It's a good thing you're not allergic to people hair like you are to cat hair! Then you couldn't be around any people............except Uncle Jason!"

Lily woke up one day and said, "Well, the Hedge Hog saw his shadow! So 6 more days until winter!"

Lily is OBSESSED with her dislike of 3 things:
1. Green beans
2. Japanese beetles
3. iCarley

These 3 items are mentioned constantly. She dreams about large Japanese beetles attacking her at night. She fears being forced to eat green beans. She squeals at every iCarley commercial.

Yep, that's entertainment.
